La caini si pisici in tratamentul pneumopatiilor si al infectiilor secundare asociate parvovirozei produse de microorganisme sensibile la substantele active sau al infectiilor cu unele protozoare (Trichomonas spp., Giardia spp., coccidii). La porumbeii voiajori si de ornament, la pasarile de colivie si voliera (perusi, papagali, sticleti) se utilizeaza in tratamentul coccidiozei si al trichomonozei.
