Indicatii terapeutice
Aport caloric glucidic.Prevenirea deshidratarii extracelulare.Rehidratare în cazul în care exista pierdere lichidiana mai mare decât pierderea de clorura de sodiu sau de alti electroliti.Profilaxia si tratamentul cetozei în caz de denutritie, diaree, varsaturi.Vehicul pentru aport terapeutic în perioada preoperatorie, perioperatorie si postoperatorie imediata. Solutia de glucoza 5% este izoosmotica cu sângele si este cel mai frecvent utilizata în depletia de lichide. Solutiile de glucoza cu concentratii mai mari de 5% sunt hiperosmotice si sunt folosite, în general, ca sursa de carbohidrati.
